Founded as a van roaming the breweries and festivals around Puget Sound , Rockin’ Ruby’s Records opened it’s first brick and mortar store in Poulsbo, WA during April 2023.
When the 2024 opportunity arose for Ruby’s to open a second location on Bainbridge Island, Ruby’s co-founders Melanie Peters and Jill Paisley asked Chemistry Productions to join the ownership group and help revamp and expand all operations to take the brand to the next level.

- Lead and close commercial lease agreement
- Interior design and project manage creation of record store space in 250 sq ft former post office built in 1890
- Lead city and county permitting process
- Install and launch Shopify Point-Of-Sale system and eCommerce store
- Design and implement new website
- Create new suite of tools to track key performance indicators
- Both locations approved as 2 of the 12 Washington State independent record stores reporting to US Charts
